What to expect: Behind the sober façade of what was once the private lodgings for the Royal Commonwealth Society Club (still housed on part of the premises) lies the bright reception, with cheery pale yellow and cherrywood hues. International businesspeople provide the bulk of the guests, some staying overnight and others for several months. Weekends attract a few holidaymaking families.
