What to expect: Three Victorian terraced houses have been joined together to create this comfortable, well-maintained hotel, with many period features (including a Victorian wrought iron staircase, fireplaces and high ceilings). Frequented by European families and couples on weekend breaks, it is also popular with tourists from the United States.
Amenity highlights: A snug bar serves alcohol until late and a meeting room accommodates 15 people in boardroom style. All rooms have in-room safes and hair dryers. First floor rooms have floor-to-ceiling windows and balconies. All rooms are accessible by lift.
Insider tip: Many of London's Victorian squares have private gardens, open only to residents of the surrounding houses. The hotel faces the private gardens of Prince's Square, which are open to guests all year round and are the ideal place for guests to relax in or for children to play in, away from the bustle of surrounding streets. Reception can provide the key.

This hotel has 65 guestrooms, spread across five floors and all accessible by lift. All feature cherry wood headboards, desks and chairs, satellite television, wall-mounted desks and bedside lights, in-room safes and hair dryers. Curtains and bedspreads are red, walls are pink and hung with two Impressionist or 19th century art prints. Compact, gray-tiled bathrooms have white units, tubs or power showers and glass vanity shelves. Rooms on the ground and first floors have high ceilings and floor-to-ceiling windows. First floor rooms have double-glazed windows and balconies overlooking Prince's Square gardens. Some have trouser presses.
DINING :
Breakfast Room - The lower ground floor breakfast room benefits from natural light and has 12 tables, a blue and yellow color scheme and is decorated with still life paintings and plants. A Continental buffet breakfast is served 7am-9.30am Mon-Sat and Sun 8am-10.30pm. Cooked breakfasts are available to order.
