What to expect: Entrance to the lobby is off the main road, where sliding glass doors lead guests into a hushed, airy space. Contemporary lines blend with bold modern tones in long open-plan area dotted with potted palms and sunlit through floor-to-ceiling windows. Clusters of leather armchairs and coffee tables accommodate a mixture of business guests and weekend leisure travellers.

Amenity highlights: Guests can start the day with a full English and continental buffet breakfast (surcharge), and an onsite snack bar serves Starbucks coffee and a selection of snacks. Evening meals can be taken in the restaurant, providing in imaginative menu of Asiatic-influenced dishes. Guests wanting a late meal can order an after-hours menu to take up to their room.

Insider tip: Just two stops away on the Central line is Ealing Broadway, “Queen of the Suburbs” and home to the world-renowned Ealing Studios, the oldest film studio in the world. Made famous by its comedy output during the 1940s and 1950s, the studios are still a source of humour hosting a comedy club on Friday and Saturday nights.

Colourful abstract artworks decorate the walls, complemented by crimson drapery and crisp white cotton bedding. Large windows are triple-glazed, soundproofing from outside noise. Work areas comprise desks with swivel chairs and high-speed Internet ports, while the seating corner provides an armchair or sofa. Flatscreen interactive televisions have satellite channels, pay movies, and Internet access via a wireless keyboard.

Bathrooms include frosted-glass partitions, chrome washbasins, and walk-in power showers; all provide complimentary toiletries.

DINING:
Wok Around the World - Guests can chose from a regularly-changing menu of Asian-inspired dishes and watch their meal being prepared in the show kitchen. Leather booths are available for small groups, as well as long wooden tables for larger parties. Open for dinner daily and lunch on Fridays.

2go - Offers a selection of Starbucks coffees, freshly prepared sandwiches and snacks, which guests can enjoy on the terrace. In the evening guests can take advantage of an after-hours menu including pizza, panini, pasta, curry and snacks, available to take up to their room.
