STAR RATING SYSTEM


Our Star rating symbolises the level of service, range of facilities and quality of guest care that you can expect. Hotels are required to meet progressively higher standards as they move up the scale from one to five star.

ONE STAR (Economy):
Practical accommodation, with a limited range of facilities and services. Typically smaller hotels, basic furnishing and facilities, but clean throughout. Friendly and courteous staff to assist you. Restaurant/eating area not always available, but range of low-priced dining can be found within walking distance. Most of the rooms with shared facilities. Some of the hotels may have restricted access, past certain hours.Conveniently located to public transport and affordable attractions.

TWO STAR (Moderate):
Mostly small or medium sized properties offering good overnight accommodation with more comfortable bedrooms, better equipped - majority with en-suite or private facilities, telephone and colour TV. Restricted range of services, including restaurant open for service breakfast.Friendly, personal style of service, ready to help with information and requests. A lift is normally available, bar can be found in some of hotels. Conveniently accessible by public transport and close to moderately priced restaurants.

THREE STAR(First Class):
Possibly larger establishments located close to major shopping areas, business centres and most tourist attractions with easy access to transportation. Hotels offer significantly greater quality and range of facilities and services, and usually more spacious public areas and bedrooms. Formal style of service with a receptionist on duty and staff responding well to your needs and requests. Hotel restaurant open for breakfast, and in some hotels for lunch or dinner. A wide selection of drinks and snacks served in a bar or lounge. Laundry service available, room service may vary between hotels.

FOUR STAR (Superior):
Mostly large, formal hotels with spacious and very well appointed public areas. Superior comfort and quality accommodation with well furnished bedrooms and extended facilities to make the stay comfortable. Staff will have very good technical and social skills, anticipating and responding to your needs and requests. Concierge, fitness centre or pool often provided. Four star hotels will put a strong emphasis on food and drink with room service of all meals and 24 hour drinks, refreshments and snack availability. Dry cleaning and valet service available.

FIVE STAR (Deluxe) :
Spacious, luxurious establishments offering the highest international quality of accommodation, facilities, services and cuisine. Striking and very elegant accommodation throughout, with a range of extra facilities. Hotel lobbies are usually very sumptuous with a touch of elegant intimacy. Rooms decorated with stylish furnishings and quality linen. Professional, attentive staff providing flawless guest services. Concierge, valet and garage parking are typically available. All hotels feature one or more restaurants with exquisite menus. 24 hour room service available. Five star hotels fit the highest international standards for the industry, with an air of luxury, exceptional comfort and a sophisticated ambience.
